I am thrilled to be your child's 6th grade math teacher this year! My journey in education has been incredibly rewarding. I previously taught 5th grade for two years, and I joined the Deer Valley Unified School District family in December 2023.
I am a proud mom to two wonderful daughters. My oldest, Lennix, is 7 years old and will be continuing her journey at Norterra Canyon in 2nd grade this year. She is a loving and energetic child who enjoys exploring new things. My youngest, Maddux, is 3 years old and is full of energy and excitement. They both keep me on my toes.
Outside the classroom, my family loves spending time outdoors. Our favorite place to be together is spending time at our family cabin in Payson. One of my absolute favorite hobbies is fishing. It offers us the perfect blend of excitement and relaxation. It’s a wonderful way to bond as a family and appreciate the simple pleasures of life.
I am excited about getting to know each of my students and working together to make this school year amazing. My goal is to create an inclusive, comfortable, and exciting classroom environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed. Let’s make this a fantastic year full of learning and growth!
