My name is Robin Roach and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! A little bit about me... I grew up in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. I attended Pepperdine University and then moved to Phoenix upon graduating in 2004, where I began teaching in Deer Valley. I had the pleasure of teaching for 5 years in 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades. After my first child was born, I had the privilege of staying home with my 3 wonderful children, Rylan (14), Presley (12), and Claire (10), who are now all students at Norterra Canyon as well. I began subbing at Norterra while my youngest was in preschool and rediscovered my love of teaching. When she started Kindergarten I came back as a full time 1st grade teacher and am now in my 6th year at NC! I absolutely love being back in the classroom and First Grade is my favorite grade to teach. In my free time, I love dancing, hiking, rock climbing, traveling, and exploring nature. When I'm not outdoors, I love to curl up with a good book, do puzzles, or play board games with my kids. I can't wait to see the incredible growth and learning in your child this year! I’m looking forward to another amazing year of learning and fun!
